WP 4 - Large Scale Manufacturing & Testing

Objectives of WP 4

• Detailed definition and design of the concepts retained at the end of WP3, to be tested in the PHARE-2 rig at ECL.
• Manufacturing of a complete stator stage for each concept retained at the end of WP3.
• Testing of 2 concepts on the PHARE-2 rig (complete fan-OGV stage at scale 1/3, providing realistic turbofan conditions).
• A detailled analysis of the experimental campaign results in order to assess the efficiency of each concept.
• Providing recommendation on the concept to be retained for the full scale demonstrator (WP5).

The work package is subdivided into 3 tasks:

• Task 4.1: Large Scale Stator Manufacturing
• Task 4.2: Large Scale Testing
• Task 4.3: Test Analysis

WP 4 will start in project month M22 and end in month M51 and provide 4 deliverables to the project.
